But we almost feel like we know them because we make donations to KAHR -- the Keshena Animal Help & Rescue organization which serves the Menominee Reservation. When we read KAHR's newsletters, again and again we see Pink Shears mentioned with gratitude. When lost and abused animals are rescued, they are often dirty, afflicted with fleas or ticks, and often have matted fur and various skin conditions. I gather that one of the first steps for many of these animals is to be taken to Pink Shears for a thorough grooming, which not only makes the animals feel better but is also helpful to those who do their physical examinations. Many thanks to Pink Shears for donating such a wonderful service to these lost and frightened animals who have often suffered so much. In also looking at your website, the many photos of your playful "usual customers" clearly show that this is a wonderful place!
